What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.
Hello, my name is Aditya Jonnalagadda and I am currently a junior in Heritage High School in Frisco, Texas. I am actively working in both the Research and Outreach team of the Willow Initiative. I first came to the Willow Initiative because of my passion for research and believed I could make a true impact in adolescent substance abuse by spreading awareness through various papers and reviews of previous work on the issue. Inspired by my passion, specifically for research in the field of Neuroscience, I am working towards the goal of turning the Willow Initiative into a globally recognized organization that prevention programs turn towards for groundbreaking research on adolescent substance abuse. In my personal life, I have been a french horn player for 6 years ever since middle school. I have also participated in my school’s marching band and have competed alongside my school in various area-wide competitions.
